கடலூர் பாடலீஸ்வரர் கோவில் கும்பாபிஷேகம் நடைபெற்றது

         கடலூர் திருப்பாதிரிபுலியூர் பாடலீஸ்வரர் கோவில் 274 சிவதலங்களுள் ஒன்றாகும். 14 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு பிறகு இந்த கோவிலுக்கு கும்பாபிஷேகம் சிறப்பாக நடத்த தீர்மானிக்கப்பட்டது. இதையொட்டி 1 1/2 கோடி ரூபாய் செலவில் கோவில் திருப்பணிகள் நடை பெற்றன. இதையடுத்து கும்பாபிஷேக விழா கடந்த 19-ந் தேதி சிறப்பு பூஜையுடன் தொடங்கியது.

                 இதைத் தொடர்ந்து யாகசாலை பூஜைகள் நடைபெற்று வந்தன. மகா கும்பாபிஷேகம் இன்று (26-ந்தேதி) நடை பெற்றது. காலை 5 மணி முதல் 7 மணிவரை யாகபூஜையும், 7.30 மணி முதல் 8 மணிவரை மஹா பூர்ணாஹ¨தி, தீபாராதனை யாத்ரா தானம் ஆகிய பூஜைகளும் நடைபெற்றன. இது முடிந்த பின்னர் யாக சாலையில் இருந்து கடம் புறப்பட்டு ராஜகோபுரம் மற்றும் சகல விமானங்களுக்கும் மகா கும்பாபிஷேகம் நடைபெற்றது. தொடர்ந்து பாடலீஸ்வரருக்கும், பெரியநாயகி அம்மனுக்கும் கும்பாபிஷேகம் நடந்தது. பாலமணி, மகாதேவன், நாகராஜன் ஆகியோர் தலைமையில் 108 சிவாச் சாரியார்கள் கும்பாபிஷேக பூஜைகளை செய்தனர்.

                 விழாவில் ஐகோர்ட்டு நீதிபதி மாலா, அய்யப்பன் எம்.எல்.ஏ., நீதிபதி ராமபத்ரன் ஆகியோர் பங்கேற்றனர். அங்காளபரமேஸ்வரி ஆலய தக்கார் அரிமா ஆர்.வி. நாகராஜன், சுபஸ்ரீ வள்ளி விலாஸ் உரிமையாளர் வி.பி.எஸ். கணேசன், ஆனந்தபவன் உரிமையாளர் நாராயணன், புதுவை தமிழ் சங்க தலைவர் வி.முத்து, நியூ அழகப்பா ஜுவல்லரி உரிமையாளர்கள் அழகப்பா ராஜகோபால், ரமேஷ்குமார், தமிழ்நாடு வெஜிடேரியன் ரெஸ்டாரண்டு உரிமையாளர் ராஜமாணிக்கம், அ.தி.மு.க. மாநில பொதுக்குழு உறுப்பினர் சேவல்குமார், தொகுதி இணை செயலாளர் வக்கீல் பாலகிருஷ்ணன், மாவட்ட இளைஞர் அணி தலைவர் மாதவன், மாவட்ட இளைஞர் அணி இணை செயலாளர் கார்த்திகேயன், மாவட்ட பிரதிநிதி கல்யாண சுந்தரம், பி.கே. ரியல் எஸ்டேட் உரிமையாளர் வெங்கட்ராமன், ஒன்றிய கவுன்சிலர் லட்சுமணன், சூர்யா மருத்துவமனை உரிமையாளர் டாக்டர் நாராயணன், முத்து கலர் லேப் உரிமையாளர் முத்து உள்பட ஏராளமான பக்தர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.  

                     கும்பாபிஷேகத்தை யொட்டி மாவட்ட போலீஸ் சூப்பிரண்டு அஸ்வின் கோட்னீஸ், துணை போலீஸ் சூப்பிரண்டுகள் பாண்டியன், குப்புசாமி, பிரசன்னகுமார், இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் சுந்தரவடி வேலு, சப்-இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் ஆனந்தபாபு உள்பட 300 போலீசார் பாதுகாப்பு பணியில் ஈடுபட்டனர்.  200 தன்னார்வ தொண்டர்கள் கூட்டத்தை ஒழுங்குபடுத்தும் பணியில் ஈடுபட்டார்கள். 5 இடங்களில் உயர் கோபுரங்கள் அமைக்கப்பட்டு போலீசார் பாதுகாப்பு பணியில் ஈடுபட்டார்கள். கும்பாபிஷேகத்தை யொட்டி போக்குவரத்து மாற்றி அமைக்கப்பட்டது. பொது அமைப்புகள் சார்பில் அன்னதானம் மற்றம் குடிநீர் வழங்கப்பட்டது.  கடலூர் நகராட்சி சார்பில் குடிநீர் வழங்கப்பட்டது. மருத்துவ முகாம் அமைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது. தீயணைப்பு வண்டிகளும் நிறுத்தப்பட்டிருந்தன. ஈஷா யோகா மையம் மற்றும் வெளிநாட்டினர் சார்பில் இசை நிகழ்ச்சி நடைபெற்றது. கும்பாபிஷேக விழாவில் பங்கேற்ற பக்தர்கள் மீது ஹெலிகாப்டர் மூலம் மலர் தூவப்பட்டது.

                கும்பாபிஷேகத்திற்கான ஏற்பாடுகளை இந்து சமய அறநிலையத்துறை இணை ஆணையர் தனபால், உதவி ஆணையர் ஜெகநாதன், கோவில் நிர்வாக அதிகாரி சிவக்குமார், ஆய்வாளர் வெங்கடேசன், வழிபடுவோர் சங்க தலைவர் டாக்டர் கிருஷ்ணமூர்த்தி மற்றும் நிர்வாகிகள் செய்திருந்தனர்.

Cuddalore Padaleeswarar Temple Mahakumbabhishekam held

CUDDALORE: 

          A large number of devotees drawn from various places descended on Cuddalore to witness the Mahakumbabhishekam performed at renowned Sri Padaleeswarar Temple at Thirupadiripuliyur here on Wednesday.

         The rituals that started at 5 a.m. by savants led by T.K. Balamani Sivachariar of Thirukannangudi culminated in Mahakumbabhishekam at about 9.30 a.m. A music band from Isha Yoga Centre gave an enthralling performance just before the main event that whipped up spiritual fervour among the devotees.The accompanying commentaryover the public address system also riveted the attention of the gathering. A helicopter, hired by a private company, hovered over the temple and showered flower petals on the gopurams to the delight of the gathering.

        As the turnout was so huge, the organisers had requisitioned the services of the fire service personnel to spray the holy water on them through the multi-chute fire tenders at low speed. Many philanthropists and service organizations had put up make-shift stalls to dispense water and buttermilk to the visitors. The entire Cuddalore town wore a festive look on account of the Mahakumbabhishekam and the Republic Day celebrations. The Padaleeswarar Temple Worshippers' Association had also incorporated a new chute to drain the milk poured over the Nandi during Pradhosham time. The Association had also put up many brass stands for placing the lighted earthen lamps so as to prevent any oil spill or stains on the temple walls.

         The Mahakumbabhishekam was performed after a gap of about 14 years at a cost of Rs 1.25 crore and a lion's share of it had come from the members of the Association. The Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department had spent less than Rs 9 lakh on the renovation of the Raja gopuram. In the evening Thiru Kalyanam was performed and the deities were taken in a procession on silver Rishaba vahanam. The temple is categorised as first grade one with an annual collection from the hundis amounting to Rs 40 lakh, according to HR & CE Department sources.

Ancient Padaleeswarar temple all set for Maha Kumbabhishekam

Padaleeswarar temple getting ready for Kumbabhishekam on Wednesday

CUDDALORE: 

           The ancient Padaleeswarar temple, situated in the heart of the Cuddalore town, is all set for Maha Kumbabhishekam on January 26. It is one among the renowned 274 Siva temples whose history reportedly dates back to 2,000 years.

          The entire premises of the temple has been given a facelift at an estimated cost of Rs 1.25 crore, of which the share of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department, that is running the affairs of the temple, is hardly Rs 10 lakh. The HR & CE Department has undertaken to renovate and repaint only the Raja gopuram while the Sri Padaleeswarar Temple Worshippers' Association has taken care of all other works through donors.

        Association secretary V.Balu who has been closely supervising the works, told The Hindu that the kumbabhishekam was last performed nearly 14 years ago on March 26, 1997 It is being done under the guidance of Kannangudi Balamani Sivachariar, an authority on Agama Sastras. Mr Balu could not say whether any other worshippers' association had undertaken works of such magnitude elsewhere. The Association came into being with Dr K.Krishnamurthy as president, Mr Balu as Secretary and K.Karthikeyan as treasurer with the specific purpose of preparing a temple car as the original one was gutted in a fire accident over a century ago.

          The Association mobilized an amount of Rs 50 lakh out of which it carved out a new temple car by spending Rs 32 lakh. The remaining Rs 18 lakh had been set aside as a corpus to meet the expenditure of conducting the annual car festival that might run into Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.5 lakh. Mr Balu said that emboldened by the temple car experiment, the Association had embarked upon the relatively un-charted territory of renovating the temple and organizing the kumbabhishekam and the works were going on smoothly.

          The 29 vimanams (top portions of the gopurams) in the temple were renovated and the 24-pillar mandapam had been beautified. The flooring of Sri Periyanayagi Amman temple and that of the Singapore mandapam (so named because it was built from the funds contributed by Singapore citizens) were elevated with granite slabs. All the sculptures and pillars were given a chemical wash to remove the oil smudges and metallic barricades had been put up in front of the sanctum sanctorum. The flag posts had been given a copper coating.

       Scores of compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) in glass domes light up the inside of the temple, perfectly matching the traditional lamps. While 40 of the existing Vahanams (mounts) were repaired and repainted, two new ones—Anna Vahanam and Rishaba vahanam—were made anew, thus taking the total number to 42. A separate ‘go shala' had been built in which at least a dozen cows were being fed. The compound wall of the temple pond ‘Siva kara theertham' had also been raised to protect its sanctity. The Maha Kumbabhishekam would be performed between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. on January 26.

பிச்சாவரத்தில் பொங்கல் படகு சவாரி : ரூ. 3.16 லட்சம் வருவாய்

              சிதம்பரம் அடுத்த பிச்சாவரத்தில் காணும் பொங்கலை முன்னிட்டு படகு சவாரிக்கு சுற்றுலா பயணிகள் குவிந்தனர். கடந்த ஆண்டை விட இந்த ஆண்டு 1.26 லட்சம் ரூபாய் படகு சவாரியில் கூடுதல் வருவாய் கிடைத்துள்ளது. 

             கடலூர் மாவட்டம் சிதம்பரம் அடுத்த பிச்சாவரம் சுற்றுலா மையம் 3,000 ஏக்கர் பரப்பளவில் கடலுக்கும் ஆற்றுக்கும் இடையில் சதுப்பு நிலத்தாவரங்களால் சூழப்பட்டுள்ளது. இப்பகுதியில் உள்ள வனங்களைப் பாதுகாக்க தமிழக அரசு சார்பில் கடந்த 30 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் சுற்றுலாத் தலமாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டு பராமரிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது. மூலிகைத் தாவரங்கள் நிறைந்த பிச்சாவரம் வனப் பகுதியில் படகில் சென்று வருவதால் மனதுக்கும் உடலுக்கும் இதமான புத்துணர்ச்சி கிடைக்கிறது. 

            இதனால் பல்வேறு பகுதிகளில் இருந்தும் அதிகளவில் சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகள் இங்கு வந்து செல்கின்றனர். நேற்று காணும் பொங்கலை முன்னிட்டு பிச்சாவரம் படகு சவாரிக்கு திருநெல்வேலி, கன்னியாகுமரி, மதுரை,கோவை, சென்னை உட்பட பெருநகரங்களில் இருந்தும் வெளி மாநிலம் மற்றும் வெளிநாடுகளைச் சேர்ந்த சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகள் அதிகளவில் வந்தனர். காலை 7 மணி முதல் படகு சவாரிக்கு சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகள் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டனர். 

              அதிகளவில் பயணிகள் குவிந்ததால் முன்பதிவு செய்து மூன்று மணி நேரம் வரை காத்திருந்து படகு சவாரி செய்தனர். மாலை 6 மணி வரை படகு சவாரிக்கு அனுமதி என்பதால் பகல் 3 மணிக்கு புக்கிங் முடிந்தது. மாலையில் வந்த பல சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகள் படகு சவாரி செல்ல முடியாமல் ஏமாற்றம் அடைந்தனர். இதனால் கிள்ளையில் இருந்து குறுக்கு வழியாக நாகை மாவட்டம் கொடியம்பாளையம் கடற்கரைக்குச் சென்றனர். 

                பிச்சாவரம் சுற்றுலா மையத்தில் படகு சவாரியில் மட்டும் 14ம் தேதி 35 ஆயிரம் ரூபாயும், 15ம் தேதி 60 ஆயிரம் ரூபாயும், 16ம் தேதி 91 ஆயிரம் ரூபாயும், நேற்று மதியம் 3 மணிவரை 1.30 லட்சம் ரூபாய் என பொங்கலை முன்னிட்டு 3.16 லட்சம் ரூபாய் வருவாய் கிடைத்துள்ளது. இது கடந்த ஆண்டை விட 1.26 லட்சம் ரூபாய் கூடுதல் வருவாயாகும்.

பிச்சாவரம் சுற்றுலா மையத்தில் புத்தாண்டு வருவாய் ரூ.1.26 லட்சம்

          சிதம்பரம் பிச்சாவரம் சுற்றுலா மையத்தில் புத்தாண்டை முன்னிட்டு, சனி மற்றும் ஞாயிறு இரு நாட்களில் படகு சவாரியின் மூலம், ஒரு லட்சத்து 26 ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் வருவாய் கிடைத்துள்ளது. 

          கடலூர் மாவட்டம், சிதம்பரத்தை அடுத்த பிச்சாவரம் சுற்றுலா மையத்தில் உள்ள சதுப்பு நிலக் காட்டில், பல அரிய வகை தாவரங்கள் உள்ளன. இதனால் வெளிநாடு, பிற மாநிலங்கள் மற்றும் மாவட்டங்களைச் சேர்ந்த சுற்றுலா பயணிகள், பள்ளி, கல்லூரி மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் வன ஆர்வலர்கள் பிச்சாவரத்திற்கு வந்து செல்வதில் ஆர்வம் காட்டுகின்றனர். தற்போது 18 வகைக்கும் மேற்பட்ட மூலிகைகள் மற்றும் சங்க இலக்கியத்தில் இடம் பெற்ற 55 வகையான தாவரங்களை வனத்துறையினர் மற்றும் பசுமை நெறியியல் அமைப்பு சார்பில் பராமரித்து பாதுகாத்து வருகின்றனர். 

              ஆண்டுதோறும் விடுமுறை காலங்களில் சுற்றுலா பயணிகள் வருகை அதிகரித்து வருகிறது. கடந்த நவம்பரில் பெய்த கனமழையால் சுற்றுலா மையம் வெறிச்சோடியது. தற்போது புத்தாண்டை முன்னிட்டு சனி,ஞாயிறு இருதினங்களில் படகு சவாரி மூலம், ஒரு லட்சத்து 26 ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் வருவாய் கிடைத்துள்ளது. இது கடந்தாண்டை விட 30 ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் கூடுதலாகும்.
